A Blossoming Friendship

Forever Bloom's journey began with an unexpected bond forged through neighborly kindness. One Christmas, my father and I decided to share the holiday spirit with an elderly neighbor spending the day alone. Little did I know, this simple act of goodwill would lead to an extraordinary friendship and a blossoming passion.

Stepping into her home was like entering a gallery of unseen wonders. Among the treasures she shared were delicate flowers that, upon closer inspection, revealed themselves as intricate beaded creations. Mesmerized by their beauty, I found myself drawn to their artistry and uniqueness.

At the age of 89, Anne welcomed me into her world with open arms, bridging the generational gap between us. Despite our differences in age and experience, she graciously offered to impart her knowledge of French beaded flower-making. Eager to learn, I eagerly accepted her invitation, and our lessons became a cherished part of my journey.

Anne not only taught me the craft of flower-making but also gifted me with invaluable life lessons and perspectives. Through her guidance, I gained not only skills but also a renewed outlook on life. Hey! I'm Liv Payette, a 23-year-old with a passion for creativity. Originally from Rhode Island, I've lived in California and now Georgia, where I've called home for the past two years.

Crafting has always been my love. From painting to nail art, sewing to whatever DIY project caught my eye, I've always loved making something out of nothing. So when I stumbled upon Anne's breathtaking beaded flower creations, I was immediately hooked.

In January, I took my first lesson with Anne, and since then, I've been on a whirlwind journey of learning and creating. And thus, Forever Bloom was born.
